Biography
Gena Brady Allen is a visual artist dedicated to the medium of photography. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Design from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Focusing on documentary approaches, she is interested in using photography as a way to explore communities, promote self-reflection, and foster communication. She currently volunteers as a photographer at the International Institute of St. Louis. In addition to visual arts, she performs improvisational music with Learn, Artist! sound project. Recently she has published the book Transients Welcome featuring her black and white street photography.
