This introductory course in conversational French is designed for students with little or no prior experience in the language. Emphasis will be on developing basic conversational skills. Ideal for those planning to travel to France, this eight-week course will introduce essential vocabulary and will provide students with opportunities to practice French conversation in a wide variety of practical contexts. Students will also be introduced to a number of cultural issues that should be given thoughtful consideration while traveling in France.
