An evening with JOHN BUCCHINO

An evening with JOHN BUCCHINO

Presented by The Cabaret Project of St. Louis
With support from the Regional Arts Commission.
General Audiences

Bucchino’s artfully crafted songs have long been revered in the pop and cabaret worlds. Such respected singers as Art Garfunkel, Judy Collins, Liza Minnelli, Barbara Cook, Kristen Chenoweth, Michael Feinstein, among other luminaries, have recorded his work. For his St. Louis debut, Bucchino will take the stage to interpret his music and lyrics in the way that can only be done by the writer who created them.

Bucchino’s scores for theater and film include Broadway’s A Catered Affair (winner of the Drama League Award for Best Musical, with a book by Harvey Fierstein), and the Dreamworks animated film Joseph, King of Dreams. Bucchino is a Drama Desk Award nominee, and the recipient of the The Johnny Mercer Songwriter Award, The ASCAP Foundation Richard Rodgers New Horizons Award, among many others. Don’t miss this rare solo appearance.

"A new American pop master... Bucchino merges the artfulness and sophistication of America’s master songwriters" - The Houston Chronicle
