In slow motion and high definition, James Nares captures the subtle magic of contemporary public life in an hour-long piece filmed during one week in September of 2011. This contemporary portrait of New York City has an almost three-dimensional or gif visual quality and is accompanied by a soundtrack composed and performed by Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore.
