CHECKLIST FOR ORIGINAL GRANT APPLICATION DEADLINE
Online submission only. All applications must be submitted online by 5 p.m. on the grant application deadline date (see the Official Schedule).
First-time applicants please contact a grant liaison before submitting an application.
CHECKLIST FOR REVISED GRANT APPLICATIONS
Remember to submit your application electronically and print the final version.
The original, required copies and support materials must be received in the RAC office by 5 p.m. on the grant deadline date.
All materials must be no larger than 8.5" by 11" and should be collated with all copies of your application.
DON'T FORGET TO PUNCH AND ALIGN! You must make a hole in the upper left corner of each copy of your grant and all the attached material, and the holes must align.
Helpful tip: Make copies of your application on 3-hole-punched paper!
If possible, staple all documents together. Otherwise, use binder clips to keep the holes aligned.
- An original grant application with signature and the required number of copies:
- Program Support - original and 11 copies (total of 12)
- Operating Support - original and 12 copies (total of 13)
- IRS tax-exempt status letter (sample) - one copy only with original application
- Missouri non-profit incorporation papers or annual registration form (sample) - one copy only with original application
- Board list
- Financials for the last two years if you are applying for program support
or your most recent audit(s) (covering the last 2 fiscal years) if applying for operating support. Financials should include:
- Statement of activities (expenses and income)
- Statement of financial position (assets and liabilities)
- Attachments that support your application are optional but may help panelists, staff and Commissioners understand your organization.
- Up to 3 letters of support that are pertinent to your proposal
- Up to 3 reviews
- Resumes/bios/backgrounds of all proposed artists
- Up to 3 brochures, fliers, programs or catalogs from the past year
- A CD, tape or video may also be submitted. We need only one copy. Mark it clearly with your organization's name and category.
Consortiums - in addition to the above, attach to both the original and the copies, a letter of commitment from each consortium member that includes:
- the organization's commitment to the focus, objectives, and strategies of the consortium
- what the organization expects in return for its participation in the consortium
- details of what the organization will commit to the consortium in terms of expertise, funds, and other resources
First time applicants, attach to the original and copies, an organizational history and philosophy that is not longer than a page, front and back.
