The Joffrey Ballet in Nutcracker at the Fox!

The Fox theatre is a beautiful place to take the family, and this time of year what better way to start off the holidays than to experience the Nutcracker at its finest!
When we arrived the energy in the place was one of excitement! The children were looking up at the ceiling like they were in a huge castle, giving Santa hugs, and listening to the original story of the Nutcracker. Julie Buck from 103.3 did a wonderful job reading the story so the children would understand what they were going to experience in the show.
The girls were anxious to get to their seats, so we headed towards the big curtain! Everything was so big in their eyes, and the curtain was filled with gems and would sparkle when hit by the spotlights! The show began and it was amazing! Everyone will have a favorite part, but as for my niece she liked the "Tall Lady!" That would be when Mother Ginger and her Pollichinelles came to visit Clara. She said she thought that was so cool! My favorite part was when they were in the Land of Snow! The stage was filled with a thick fog which made the stage look like it was covered with snow! Beautifully done!
When the show was over they all had big smiles on their faces! They had a wonderful time and will cherish the memory for years to come. Take your family, bring your friends, and see the Nutcracker at the Fox. It runs December 5th - 9th.
