To mark the end of the African World Festival at Belas Artes Multicultural Center & Art Gallery, Afriky Lolo will be putting on a performance featuring founder Diadie Bathily and dancer Rokia Ouattara. Afriky Lolo is a West African dance non-profit corporation that is committed to bringing West African dance and culture to the St. Louis, Missouri, community through teaching and performing.
Diadie Bathily (JAH-jay bah-chee-LEE) is a master dancer, choreographer, and dance instructor from the West African country of Cote d’Ivoire, formerly known as Ivory Coast.
Rokia Ouattara is an international dancer with over ten years of training at the ecole de Danse et d’Echange Culturel in Ivory Coast.
