Since its premiere in 1905, Lehár's The Merry Widow has charmed audiences throughout the world with its ravishing score and captivating story, filled with elegant ladies, eligible bachelors, parties, merriment, and one woman's decision that will affect the fate of an entire country. Under the artistic direction of Martin Ortava, Czech Opera Prague returns to the Touhill for The Merry Widow's U.S. debut featuring soloists from Prague State Opera and the U.S. Presented in its original German with English supertitles and a full orchestra and chorus.
